September 2nd, 2024 marks an important day in Vision Linens’ history as we announce new branding, and the launch of VisionLinensHome.com. The team has been working feverishly behind the scenes to bring this to you with the goal of bringing the history and expertise of the Vision Linens team into the future with the quality and service our UK and Ireland customers know and expect.
Vision Linens has been a supplier of choice for hospitality businesses including hotels, laundries, and healthcare settings for decades. In recent years we have been pleased to grow our offering to discerning home customers who wanted the quality of linen used at top global hotels and restaurants for personal use. As we have seen demand from these customers increase, we began a journey of finding a way to better serve their unique needs with the same outstanding quality that Vision has always been known for. Today, we are pleased to share that these trend led, quality focused, price savvy, customers will be able to shop directly on a brand new site that caters to them. During the creation of this site, we have taken the opportunity to have a refresh of our look to better suit our home shoppers.
One of the big changes you’ll notice is our new logo. Our graphic designer, Lewis Taylor Bello, took a deep dive into the existing Vision Linens logo with an eye to ensuring that any updates would have to represent our history, going back to 1866 when William Liddell set up his first factory as the first piece of what would one day become Vision Linens. The icon would also have to showcase the current iteration of Vision’s identity, as a creative, innovative, and trusted textile supplier to hospitality, laundry, and care settings across the globe.
The common thread that tied together all of our services was just that, thread. With product from sheets, to towels, to tablecloths, being used in hotels, healthcare setting, and homes, with many more in between we wanted an icon that unified it all. Our updated logo looks at the structure of spools of thread and balls of yarn and translates them into a contemporary and dynamic image that you’ll find across the website and our social channels.
When asked about the design process, designer Taylor-Bello said “This rebrand is not just about updating our visuals – its about ensuring that every aspect of our brand reflects who we are and what we stand for, across all platforms. The vision is to elevate our brand so that it resonates more powerfully with our customers.”
Another change on VisionLinensHome is a new colour – purple! This colour represents a combination of the Vision red you know and recognise with the blue of our American owners, Westpoint Group. The blending of the two symbolises the joining of the expertise and history both groups, not just on either side of the Atlantic, but across the globe.
With all this change, one thing will remain the same: Quality.
The quality of our products, the quality of our service, and the quality of our sourcing will remain as high as ever, and continue to improve as we grow together with the customers who shop with us. It’s our Vision for the future, but it wouldn’t be possible without our customers and we look forward to supplying you with linen for years to come.
